The Travolta's have spoken publicly only once since their son's passing. "We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives," Travolta and Preston said in a statement Sunday.
Tommy Davis, a spokesman for the Church of Scientology International in Los Angeles, said on CBS' "Early Show" on Thursday that he's spoken to the family and "they're doing great."
"This is a time for them and their family and their friends, and like anyone we would wish them well and hope they can be brave," Davis said
Wow...be brave is all the spokesman for the Church of Scientology International can say? I am sure glad God's Son did not say to his mother when she was near the cross: "Mother, just be brave."
The words of Jesus the Christ the son of the Living God said to his followers:
John 14:1-6
14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going."
5 Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. NIV
Let's pray that this time will bring the Travolta's to the realities of how hopeless their religion is, and how much hope Christ can bring to his followers in their hours of grief.

Hey John,
I found your site by the "preaching" link. I preach for the church of Christ in Ulysses, KS. Used to be in Marianna, FL, not too far from where you are. Enjoyed your articles.
